Naturopathic medicine blends centuries-old natural and non-toxic therapies with modern scientific knowledge in the practice of healthcare. It is based on the healing power of nature and it supports and stimulates the body’s ability to heal itself.
As I approach my seventh decade of life, I have come to understand the ingredients for good health. I am simplifying my naturopathic practice and focusing on nourishing foods, clean water, exercise and rest, nature, fresh air, loving relationships, spiritual wellness, avoiding toxins, and using simple therapies.
I understand conventional medicine well. For the first decade of my healthcare career, I worked as a critical care RN in high risk settings and taught critical care neurological nursing.
My own health improved with a broader healthcare approach through naturopathic medicine, which precipitated a change in my healthcare careers long ago. For almost 4 decades now, I have been involved in naturopathic medicine.
My passions in life are playing with my grandchildren, supporting my husband, and being a loving mom. Other passions include mountain hiking, beach walking, basketball, playing the piano and accordion with my granddaughter, and learning how to become healthier in body-mind-spirit.
Health is a journey. May all of our journeys be fulfilling and transformative.

Most extended healthcare plans offer coverage for naturopathic consultations and testing. We do not direct bill.
